
Director at Large – Board of Directors (Volunteer position)
EveryMind is seeking a passionate individual to join our Board of Directors. As a Board Director, you will help shape the strategic direction of the organization, ensure effective governance, and advance our goal to enhance the mental health of infants, children, youth, young adults, and their families.
The Opportunity
As a Board Director, you will:
- Guide strategic goals and ensure alignment with community needs.
- Oversee creation of policies and standards that shape operations.
- Evaluate the CEO’s performance and ensure standards are met.
- Represent EveryMind to stakeholders and the broader community.
- Support effective governance through self-monitoring and process improvement.
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates with:
- Commitment to EveryMind’s mission and vision.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to dedicate 3–5 hours per month for board activities.
- Diverse perspectives and lived experiences are strongly encouraged.
- Experience in the education sector and/or nonprofit leadership a plus.
