EveryMind’s Annual Evening of Hope Gala, held on November 16th at the Mississauga Grand Banquet Hall, welcomed 230 guests to a sold-out event and raised an amazing $68,700.

The Denim & Diamonds theme was a hit, as attendees embraced the perfect blend of casual charm and elegant style. Notable attendees included Mississauga Mayor, Carolyn Parrish, Peel Deputy Chiefs of Police Mark Dapat and Nick Milinovich, and comedian and Breakfast Television co-host Jean Paul.

The evening began with a cocktail reception sponsored by King Masonry Yard Ltd and a spectacular silent auction supported by Holman Canada. Guests enjoyed engaging activities like the wine pull, mystery gifts, and a sparkle bar, with volunteers and the evening’s MC Leena Latafat from CP24 enthusiastically supporting these efforts. The room was filled with energy and excitement as guests were regaled with vocal performances, participated in line dancing and ended the evening with laughter as guests enjoyed a stand-up act by a local comedian.

The highlight of the evening was guest speaker Julia, whose heartfelt story about her mental health journey and the impact EveryMind has had on her life moved the audience to a standing ovation. The event created an inviting atmosphere for guests to connect with friends, meet new people, and enjoy a night of relaxation.

Supported by generous local business sponsors like Kotak Law and presenting sponsor Bell, the gala received outstanding feedback, with many attendees calling it the best event they’ve attended. Now, having raised the bar, we just have to top it at our gala next year, which will mark 40 years of EveryMind Mental Health Services!
