Thank You Bell Let’s Talk for Supporting Child & Youth Mental Health

Today is Bell Let’s Talk Day, an initiative that has significantly advanced Canada’s mental health conversation since its 2010 launch. This year’s effort is designed to get Canadians focused on the crisis facing young people, with 1.25 million young people requiring help in this country,

EveryMind is thankful for this effort to reduce stigma and foster positive changes in attitudes and behaviors surrounding mental wellness and illness.

We are also extremely grateful for Bell Let’s Talk support for our youth in Peel over the years.

Most recently, EveryMind received $15,000 from Bell Let’s Talk Community Fund for the project titled Empowering Youth & Young Adults: Mental Health Care, which provides counselling and therapy for youth over the age of 18 in Peel.

“Bell Let’s Talk is very pleased to partner with EveryMind – a community organization in Mississauga – that provides free and confidential mental health supports and services to young people and their families. Our support for weekly counselling services for young adults is an example of our commitment to helping increase access to timely services close to home. Our youth are our future and we must do better to ensure they have all the mental health support they need to flourish and achieve their full potential,” said Mary Deacon, Chair of Bell Let’s Talk.

Bell Let’s Talk has also been the Presenting Sponsor for our Evening of Hope Gala since 2015. They have committed to supporting us again this year, making it their tenth year as our Presenting Sponsor. This year’s Gala will be special, marking EveryMind’s 40th anniversary, and will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025.

We, here at EveryMind, would once again like to reiterate our sincere appreciation to Bell Let’s Talk for creating Canada’s annual day for mental health that highlights the progress that has been made and discusses what still needs to be done to support those with mental health challenges, including Canada’s youth.
